Privacy policy & terms

The short version: we only use your data to answer your inquiry and fulfil your order. We don't sell it, we don't spam you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. Who we are

Autoconnekt ("we", "us"), based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, operates this website and supplies vehicle-specific wireless CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces to business customers worldwide. Our office and engineering base is at Room 403, Building 5#B, Skyworth Innovation Valley, No. 1 Tangtou Road, Shiyan Street, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong 518108, China. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].

2. What data we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us:

  • Inquiry form submissions — your name, company, email address, country, vehicle/factory system, estimated quantity and message.
  • Email correspondence — anything you send us by email, including attachments.
  • Order and after-sales records — quotations, order details and warranty/RMA records for units we supply to you.

We do not run advertising trackers on this site and we do not collect behavioural data for profiling.

3. How we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To reply to your inquiry and prepare quotations — based on your request prior to entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
  • To fulfil orders, provide firmware and installation support, and handle warranty/RMA service — performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep basic business records as required by tax and commercial law.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

4. Who processes your data

Only what is necessary: our email and form-delivery providers (for transmitting your inquiry to our sales inbox), and shipping carriers (DHL / FedEx) when we ship to you. They act as processors and handle your data solely to deliver these services. Our production is handled by our long-term manufacturing partner in Shenzhen, which processes order-related data only as needed to build and test your units.

5. How long we keep it

Inquiries we don't convert to orders are deleted after 24 months. Order, invoice and warranty records are kept as long as required by tax and commercial law, and for the duration of the 3-year warranty period so we can service your units.

6. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, UK or elsewhere, you can ask us at any time to:

  • give you a copy of the data we hold about you;
  • correct anything that's wrong;
  • delete your data (where we don't have a legal obligation to keep it);
  • restrict or object to our use of it.

Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
